The room we had included a living area, the softest sheets, and it's own balcony. The free parking was on site, excellent service.

We did not have the opportunity to experience anything other than the spa and the dining room as only there for one night and the weather appalling. the hotel was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful particularly the staff in the spa which was very tranquil and relaxing.
I thought it was quite expensive for what it was 3 of us stayed for one night in the same room and we paid separately for the evening meal and our bill was still nearly 700 euro which I think was very expensive but we did enjoy it.

Amazing hotel with excellent wi-fi, a relaxing spa, and outdoor activities like hiking. I'll never forget how the staff helped me find my lost jewel on my first stay. Dining was good too!

The staff were exceptional - they couldn't do enough to help us. Everything we asked for was done with a smile. The spa was absolutely fantastic, best massage ever.
There is no kettle in the room - if you want to make tea at night, you have to order room service, which is expensive.

The ambience of the place. The friendly accommadating staff. The high quality service, staff and fantastic facilities.
The room we had was a twin bed, which we found the beds a little bit small and very hard. We should of mentioned this to the staff as they would have deffinately accommodated us ensuring we were comfortable. There is no furniture on the veranda to relax in the sunshine. After requesting tea and coffee facilities we did receive it but it was not maintained.

The location was perfect, the view was amazing, the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you.
I think for the type of room I booked I would have expected a hospitality tray as standard and the only thing supplied was bottled water. The balcony should have had furniture on which would have been perfect to take in the view but unfortunately, the chairs were taken for another function in the penthouse, which I think was not really acceptable as I had booked a superior room. It would have been nice if hotel guests had use of the spa as part of their stay as other hotels I stayed in included it in the price.

Reasonably priced place, had a terrific stay for 2 nights. We had amazing breakfast with poached eggs, a fantastic view, fruits.
The staff were quite rude, didn't expect that coming.

perfect for exploring local parks and landmarks with ease
I had a fantastic stay where the peaceful sleeping environment allowed me to fully relax, and the live piano performance in the restaurant added a charming touch to our evenings, making it feel special after a day of exploring the nearby National Park and the beautiful Innisfallen Abbey.

As solo visitor I particularly liked being just that and having enough to do in comfort on my own. I had the swimming pool to myself. I ate in the bar which I found really relaxing very good food, wonderful live piano music and I was able to read my book. I was very well looked after by the Staff without being intruisive.
I would have loved a larger pool and a Sauna and Steam room. At breakfast there were a few children throwing tantrums!!! Maybe seperate areas for families and solo guests.

It was the worst experience that we have had in a so called 5 star hotel. We arrived and were brought to a twin bedded room. We had booked a Double King size bed room. After alot of confusion and left standing around in the room we were brought to, we eventually got a double room. We decided to take afternoon tea, which was a disaster, completely. Cold tea, like tar, no service, as they were short of staff, it would take me forever to go through the details, as there was nothing good about it. Nothing short of a disaster. We then decided to eat out after that until breakfast when I requested poached eggs with my Irish breakfast. The eggs were still raw when I went to eat it, the waitress who was excellent took it back and I got two burnt fried eggs instead, n I mean burnt, turned upside down and the colour of the yokes were brown having been turned upside down. We complained to the receptionist when paying the bill and she refused to take our money. She was really sorry, but not half as sorry as we were for staying there. It was truly shocking!
I have just printed our experience above

Amazing views and super comfy beds!
The views from our family room were just fine, and the bed was soooo comfy. Breakfast was delish, lots of options, really one of the best I've had. The staff were super friendly, but the drinks at the bar were pretty pricey and not that special. A great experience!
